Since I was young, the magic of film, television, music, and social media has shaped my world. Mesmerized by the narratives, characters, and enchanting power of visual storytelling, I started creating and editing my own videos. Every aspect of this process, from forming narratives to detailed editing, was an exploration for me, gradually unfolding the power of media in shaping perspectives and influencing lives.
As I embraced the role of a filmmaking major at Montclair State University, I used this burning passion to create short films. Each film was a journey - an idea born in the imagination, taking shape, and finally, coming alive on screen. During my tenure as an Assistant Production Coordinator Intern at Stanulis Films, working on the movie "The 5th Borough," my understanding of the industry grew even deeper. However, my time spent creating short films triggered a significant realization: my interest extended beyond the sphere of film.
Creating these films was a transformative experience, and it opened my eyes to the vast expanse of the entertainment industry. I wanted to not just create but also understand and appreciate the broader panorama of media forms in the industry. This revelation led me to a more comprehensive Telecommunications and Media Industries course at Penn State University.
In addition to my academics, I was proudly involved in four diverse clubs and organizations. I served on the social media and video production team for THON's 46LIVE, worked with the social media and marketing team for The Student Program Association (SPA), acted as the Instagram chair for the Telecommunications Club, and performed the duties of Vice President for Students of S.H.I.E.L.D. Through these roles, I am honing my leadership skills and fueling my commitment to the industry.
Now, my longstanding love for film, television, music, and social media, coupled with a deep curiosity for all forms of media, drives my career aspirations in the broad entertainment world.
